Held since 2004, the UEF-UN Environment Course on Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) is a high profile course on international environmental law-making and diplomacy, which seeks to transfer past experience to current and future negotiators. The course also provides a forum to foster North-South cooperation and to take stock of developments related to MEA negotiations and implementation. The 2017 course focuses on the Trade and Environment. Confirmed speakers include, among others, Prof Joost Pauwelyn (Graduate Institute, Geneva), Aik Hoe Lim (WTO), Aaron Cosbey (IISD), Jamil Ahmad (UN), Yvonne Ewang-Sanvincenti (BRS Secretariat), Gilbert Bankobeza (Ozone Secretariat), Sofie Flensborg (CITES Secretariat), Elizabeth Mrema, Anja Von Moltke and Sylvia Bankobeza (UN Environment), Kati Kulovesi, Harro van Asselt and Sabaa Ahmad Khan (UEF).
