Evaluation of applicants
Applicants are requested to submit completed application forms and the necessary documentation by the set deadline. Partially completed or unsigned applications, or applications that are missing the required documentation will be automatically rejected. Applications arriving after the deadline will not be considered.
All applicants who satisfy the admission criteria listed above will be put through a subsequent evaluation process that will determine which applicants are selected for admission to the programme. In particular, the selection is based on the quality, relevance and scope of the applicant's previous studies, the written essay and the proficiency of written and spoken academic English. Furthermore, the letter of motivation, letters of recommendation and the personal interview are also evaluated within the evaluation and selection process. In order to be able to better evaluate the applicant's educational background, each applicant is asked to submit all available documentation and student transcripts concerning previous higher education and academic studies that the applicant finds pertinent (i.e. there could be additional documents in addition to the ones required in the admission criteria) to the evaluation.
Applicants are evaluated and scored with the following emphases (overall maximum 100 points):
1. Previous studies (appropriate Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree): 0-30 points
a) Relevance of studies
b) Scope of studies
c) Academic success
d) Other relevant background
2. Letter of motivation in English: 0-15 points
3. Letter of recommendation in English: 0-5 points
4. Written essay: 0-30 points

If an applicant scores zero points from sections 1, 2, 4 or 5, the application will be automatically rejected from the evaluation process.
