Kuopio Epilepsy Symposium will be held as
a virtual meeting
Due to the Corona virus situation, the symposium will be held via virtual connections only. This enables participants from Finland and abroad to follow the symposium as a stream. Symposium will be held in English in order for the live stream to be accessible to as many people as possible. Link for the virtual connection will be send for participants via email before the event.

Welcome to Kuopio
On behalf of the Finnish Epilepsy Society and the Pediatric Neurology Association, we cordially welcome you to participate in the Kuopio Epilepsy Symposium, which will take place on March 26 – 27, 2020 in Kuopio Music Centre, Kuopio, Finland.
The symposium will be the 9th in a series of epilepsy meetings organised jointly by the Finnish Epilepsy Society, the Finnish Association of Pediatric Neurology, the Finnish Epilepsy Association, the Department of Neurology (University of Eastern Finland) and Neurocenter (Kuopio University Hospital), an EpiCARE ERN member.
We hope to bring together people working in the different fields of epileptology and to update our understanding especially of rare and complex epilepsies. In addition, the symposium serves as the kick-off of the YES-ILAE-Finland activity for young doctors and researchers. We will be holding an abstract competition.
